Panic Stations

Koalas sighted: Zip – they’re all off celebrating Mothers Day somewhere I”m not invited. Did spot a kookaburra, two parrots, one angora goat and several sheep while out walking yesterday, but it’s hardly the same thing.

Music of choice: Zip again. I have voices, lovely voices and who needs a soundtrack when they’re playing to their own tune?

And panic stations? The book is due this week (extended deadline – thank you Ed!), Romance Writers of Australia’s Romance Roadshows kick off this Saturday here in Adelaide town (next week – watch out Perth!) and a certain young lady turns who was born on Mother’s Day 18 years ago turns, you guessed it,  18 tomorrow. Zoom.  Where the hell did that time go?

Gosh, it’s one heck of a week! But who’d have it any other way? Especially when MOTH is doing so well and we can see the worst is definitely over.

Thanks to everyone for their good wishes and support!:-) Meanwhile, it’s back to the book!

Toodles x

Trish, best of luck with the book and the Roadshow. I’m sure both will be fantastic.

Snap on the 18th birthday. My own daughter turned 18 yesterday. Celebrations today, which means I really should get moving.

Best of luck with it all.

Hope the birthday celebrations went off without a hitch, Annie. All the very best to the birthday girl!
