The latest cover – Aussie Style

Went out walking with the pooch today and couldn’t spot a single koala.  But who could complain? The sky was blue, the sun was warm enough to take off my jacket, and there are camelias, rhododendron’s and wattle flowering so you just know spring is on the way. Bliss!

Just in contrast to that last post, I want to share my latest Aussie cover. It’s a stunner. I saw it for the first time while MC’ing the RWAustralia conference in Melbourne last weekend – Rosie Koop and Haylee Kerans from Harlequin Australia in Sydney were giving an overview of the M&B’s fabulous century in publishing, when they arrived at the present and this cover hit the big screen!

Unfortunately my scanner doesn’t do the red justice and it comes out more like orange. But on the big screen, I have to say, the cover looked fantastic! I really do believe our Aussie covers are the best. They use the same artwork as in the Modern/Presents covers, but using the full artwork with a gorgeous red spin. This one’s out in October Downunder, or September from www.eharlequin.com.au

And September it will be out in the UK and I’ll get to see it on the shelves! What a buzz.

Okay, must do work. But I have received some great photos from the Aussie conference courtesy of very wonderful Sil Desire author Yvonne Lindsay and I’ll be posting them up in the next few days.

Cheers from Downhere:-))

Oooh nice Trish. And what a way for you to be introduced to your new cover – on a big screen.
